Peace

A sweet friend of mine reminded me in her blog this morning to seek God's Peace. I was just praying about the "Desires of my Heart" and how God knows my desires. I know if I am faithful and seeking His Will, He will honor my faithfullness. "Thank you Lord, for using Amy today to touch my heart."

Inspired!

Shelly and I are in Natchez, Ms at a 3 day scrapbooking event as vendors for our store Scrapbooks and More. We are having so much fun meeting new friends and playing with our scrappy goodness. :) I found an idea blog hopping earlier in the week and my little brain kept on running. These flowers are the creative result. I love playing with Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels and getting my fingers inky. This was the perfect project to get all "dirty" with. I'll post the picture of the layout I am putting the flowers on soon.

I just read the cutest saying - for a scrapbooker at least. "Be nice, or I will crop you out"! I love it. Just a friendly warning to everyone. :) Ha Ha!!

Another card

It's been a very busy week at the store so I haven't gotten much scrapping done but I seem to be stuck on cards anyway. Here's one I made for my wonderful Father in Law who turned 65 this week. Don't tell him about it because he doesn't get it until tonight. Hee, hee. I used the new Little Yellow Bicycle Boardwalk collection, cardstock and of course lots of stickles. Gotta love my Stickles!
Have a Happy and Safe 4th of July. I will be spending the weekend floating in the pool being attended by my very own personal pool boy. Shhh -- don't tell my husband about him! :)

Summer

Well summer is in full swing around here. And I'm not just talking about the heat. Scrapbook events, Camp Sunshine for Landry, Dance rehearsals for Emilie' and Scrapbook camp for all three of us. Whew, I'm exhausted just thinking about it again. But I'm also loving every minute of it. This is the first year the girls have been with us all summer in 7 years. We are finding lots to do and love getting to spend the extra "fun" times with them. I wish it was summer all year long with the exception of the massive heat we are experiencing. I LOVE SUMMER!!!
